NWR...new car

sooo my lease is up in october and i need to get a new car. thinking of getting a small SUV. orinigally FH and I wanted a jeep, but i think it's going to be too pricey between the monthly payment and the huge gas bill. i'm driving a civic right now, so my gas bill is TINY lol.

i saw a commercial for the ford escape during idol last night...i think i like it! i went on their website just now and they look affordable AND they're good on gas (not just for an SUV). have any of you ladies driven one?

anyone have a ford in general? i love that new sync thing they have lol

I'm not gonna lie. I HATE American cars...or maybe they just hate me and committed suicide once I owned them.

However, 2 of my friends have the Escape and they're way comfy inside and so far they've had no real probs with them.

yeah, i've never owned an american car before. FH was telling me yesterday that fords are as good as foreign cars now...?

be careful with ford. they may not be around in a couple of months. you will probably be able to get your car repaired if they go bust...but still...

however, the ford hybrid escape is amazing on gas mileage!

seriously?? you think ford will actually disappear? it seems like it's 'too big to fail' but seriously, it does lol

My dad has a Ford escape, he's had it for about 5 years. It's his company car so he doesn't really have a choice but he likes it and has never really has a problem. I do have to be honest and say we did have another Ford for about 6 years and it was great until we had it for about 4 years. Things started going wrong and the Ford service department SU*KS.

Also he's a BIG man and has plently of room so you will definitely be comfortable!

ive never owned a Ford before.. but my FFIL has the expedition. Its a 98 with 200,000+ miles on it and it is just now starting to fall apart... Plus ford has really stepped up their game \when it comes to manufacturing their cars.

Plus as long as ppl keep buying american cars the companies wont fail

I LOVE my Escape! It was my first new car. Most of my cars have been Fords or Volvo's. My first car (my Thunderbird) ran to almost 200,000 miles. My volvo had almost 250,000! The one non-Ford car that I had I hated. FH hates Ford though so he wants to get a Toyota as our next car. Boo!

i have tc scion, I bought it. My mom actually has a hooked up red xb and it is so cute and roomy, she bought it!!

i test drove the scion tc before i got my civic- it was too pricey for me at the time (i just graduated college and had no job yet lol)...plus, my sister didn't fit in the back seat
