Have any of you gals been to Germany for Octoberfest? If so...how was it?

We're going next September for 2 days i think total. We're going to do 2 weeks in Europe - timing it so that we can go to Oktoberfest!

I was in Munich, but I just missed Oktoberfest. Regardless, there was TONS of beer. Yum. I recommend Augustiners Brau. We stayed in two hostels, both of which were really nice, but maybe not something you want to do with FH (it was me and my best gal pal).
