DH and I just started house hunting on Saturday and we found a house. We put an offer in today so now we just wait and see......I think i might vomit!!!!!

Good luck! I know it's very scary. FH and I just went into contract a couple of weeks ago. You're lucky though - it took us just about a year to find a house AND we had put in offers on 9 different houses before this one. They were either rejected, the counter was waaaaaaaaaay to high or we or the sellers walked away from the deal for various reasons.
Let us know how it turns out. Where is the house?

I dont think DH and I are that scared of owing on the house because we are so in debt from law school so the house is actually not that bad....but we are also looking in the very low end of the market because of our school loans.
Its a fun and scary process all in one!

You'll be fine - it's very scary but also really exciting too!
I'm now in the 'hurry up and wait' stage....Waiting on a mortgage commitment so we can get the closing moving along. I want out of my apartment NOW!!!
