NWR...So Frustrated at Work....HELP

I am a health care professional, and work in a small facility, we see about 20 -30 people a day. I personally have to see almost all of the patients and my lazy-a$$ co-worker only see a small handful as needed.

anyway he takes off everyday for lunch when we dont really get a lunch break (or any breaks that matter cuz we have down time in between patients) and he leaves for about an hour maybe two and then takes an afternoon break for about an hour or so, either way he doesnt clock out and our boss in only in 1 day a week for about 3 hours, so he is clueless!!!!

this has been going on for a while now, but last week/today was really bad and I personally am sick of it!!!!

I hate to be a rat and tell the boss, but come on this is an everyday thing!!!!!

What do I do????? Help!!!!!!

Thats a tough one! Are you friends with this co-worker? He sounds like a jerk that is taking advantage of you. I would confront the co-worker first and let him know straight out, its not fair what he is doing. If that doesn't help, tell the boss.

Unless this person is a friend of yours who you would feel comfortable confronting, then i say rat him out!!! He is definitely taking advantage of the situation and it isn't fair for you to have to work double for his lazy a**.

I hate to admit it but it is a dog eat dog world out there and sometimes no one will look out for you but you.

I would absolutely say something to his (and your?) boss about it. It's not fair for him to take all these breaks when you don't take any, and you are forced to cover the work he's NOT doing!

I would say something to the boss.
Something like 'Can we go over the break policy? Because it seems as if certain people take more that the allotted time and I'm a bit frustrated with the amount of work I have to cover'

Good luck!!
