I realized after reading a few FM's today that i hadnt fully updated on my mom.
She's home from the hospital. The surgery went well. She's not in the best of moods, but that's to be expected. They managed to save her foot, and only had to take part of a bone from one of her toes. At least that is how she explained it to me.
I have been working 10 hour days, and havent gotten the chance to see her since she's been home.
Thank you all for your kind words, and your prayers. It meant a lot to me.
I miss you ladies. I didnt realize just how addicted to this site i was untill i couldnt get on it for days.

And, 10 hour days stink........ that is until you get your paycheck and spread it around the bed and roll naked in the cash.

i can honestly say that i did that exact thing with my first paycheck from this job last year.
however, 10 hour days still stink, b/c i'm on salary and not hourly.
i'm glad she's home too. it's taken a lot of the stress away, i can't sleep when my mommy is in the hospital.

On a serious note, I can only imagine the relief to have her home, and, have her feeling okay, physically. She'll be fine, and get over the emotional part. And, we definitey missed you!!!

yes... busy. very busy. i hate it. i miss the days last month where i could lounge around naked and play with my cats. i'd much rather be the crazy naked cat lady than the crazy stressed out halloween lady.

thanks so much ladies! I was never really 'gone' from the boards... it had just been such a stressful week between my mom and the store that i barely had time to read some posts, if i'd taken time to reply to any... i never woulda made it back a few pages.
i hope i didn't fall too far behind, but i'm sure it'll just get worse as the season progresses.
You girls should come visit me at work, and fill me in on everything that's going on!!
