I'm coming home for Easter weekend and hoping to make some dress shopping appointments. My sister works near NY Bridal Outlet in Farmingdale. I was wondering if anyone has checked it out. I didn't want to make an appointment if they didn't have a good selection. I'm not looking to buy a sample gown and I wasn't sure if that's all they had. Any pros/cons about NY Bridal Outlet would be great. I'm not home very often so I'm trying to make the most of my time.
Also has anyone been to Helen's Bridal in Commack? If so what'd you think?

Re: NY Bridal Outlet
I just went to Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point and I cannot say enough good things about them. They really truly care about anyone who walks into the store. I haven't heard about the other places. Good Luck with your dress shopping!!

Re: NY Bridal Outlet
I had an absolutely terrible experience at Fantasia yesterday... It was a zoo and I was ignored for a half hour while I waited to check in for my appointment. When I finally got a consultant to work with, we couldn't find anything in the store that I liked or fit my criteria. I know all stores have good and bad reviews, but for me Fantasia was a huge disappointment.
Don't know anything about the bridal outlet but I'm curious to see what people think!!

Re: NY Bridal Outlet
Bridal Outlet is affiliated with Village Bridal in Babylon. From what I understand Village Bridal sends there dresses that are about to get discountinued there. I don't know if other places do that with them or if it's just Village Bridal. Can't hurt to check it out.

This is exactly what the ny bridal outlet is, samples! They have like one rack that u can order from! I would highly recommend bridal suite if centereach! 2 amazing appointments there with 2 different consultants. If u go to Fantasia in Rocky point def ask for Candy I had a bad experience with ny first consult!!

Village Bridal in Babylon... Miriam helped with my dress, not pushy at all, listened to what I said and worked within my budget
and we dealt with Laurie for the BM dresses very very helpful... I highly reccomend them

Bridal suite of bayshore, Renata's in Lindenhurst, David's bridal in Massapequa and believe it or not Estelle has a big selection but customerservice isn't that good compared to most bridal ssalons.

NY Bridal Outlet
I actually bought my dress from NY Bridal Outlet in Farmingdale. They were and have been amazing! They have dresses you can order, but they have a larger selection of samples. They are considered the sister store to Village Bridal in Babylon. All alterations are done there, and they capped my alterations at $250 which is AMAZING! The bridal attendant who helped me explained the dresses weren't only samples, some of them were dresses from runway shows, others from brides who changed their minds. They do a great job caring for their gowns!
