Hello, I would really appreciate some help in selecting a venue. We are only recently engaged and beginning my search. We am planning an enchanted garden themed wedding with an outdoor ceremony either on eastern Long Island or upstate New York. I found what I thought to be the ideal location when I researched Salt Air Farms in Cutchogue but the only problem is that we have to stop the music by 9 pm and we are really looking forward to dancing the night away. We would prefer to stay away from the typical catering halls and would rather look at estates with sprawling lawns and gardens or outdoor space with beautiful scenery. Thank you for your help!

FH's brother is getting married at Sleepy Hollow Country Club but its all outdoors under tent (which is included in cost)--check that out possibly? Best friend got married at the Inn at Fernbrook but that is in NJ. I would look into weddings in Hudson Valley (just google that)--lots of options that we were also considering. We ended up booking at a beer garden in Manhattan because it was the most convenient for us (we were also against a traditional catering hall).

You could also look in to the Queens County Farm Museum. I have seen them do some real beautiful weddings.
