Good-bye to shea!!! I thought we had a shot here... but it's over I just can't watch.. they all look so sad... what a way to say see ya to shea

ok.. watching the ceremony now.. very depressing!!!! They've done this really ncely... willie mayes just touched home plate.. and i'm tearing up... this would have felt a lot better if they made it to the post season!!! There's always next year..but it'll never be same

i know!!! what a loss!!! terrible!! but the end cermony with piazza and seaver closing the gates to shea... we were all sittin here balling... really nice.. poor david wright looked so sad... i think i need to go comfort him..lol!!

i know.. my FH was not happy.. i hit my head last night so i was trying to rest quietly.. good luck with that..even on the 2nd floor i could hear him...lol..!!! he loves his jets..but the mets are his world... so it hasn't been a good day!!! hopefully citi field will be good to us!!

I told FH that it's not so bad they didn't make it into the post season because now we won't miss any games while we're on our honeymoon FH and I were getting chills watching all the moments from Shea. It was really nice. Definitely a bittersweet way to end the season.
Now, I'm rooting for the Cubs all the way!

It was very emotional i have to admitt... i was at the game yesterday and it didnt bother me too much, but watching the ceremony had me all teary eyed. It was great seeing all the Mets.... the way they ended it i think was perfect... a hall of famer throwing to a future hall of famer

i agree.. mike piazza.. WOW! lol..it was so cute cause you could see how emotional he was getting!! i agree that they ended it perfectly!!!!
