NYC Bachelorette Party

NYC Bachelorette Party

I need help with this. My girls asked me to give them ideas for my bachelorette party in NYC. My bridal party and I (total of 7 of us) are going to Vegas in August and then we are having a NYC party for everyone else who couldn't make it to Vegas that are still my very close friends and family members, probably an additional 10 people.

I'm very familiar with NYC, but I feel like all my options would be too expensive. I'm trying to keep it as affordable as possible. We are staying over night, having dinner, going out after, and then a brunch the next day (that was all their choices, I definitely didn't ask for them to do all that, they wanted too, they are the BEST!!)

Do you have any suggestions for somewhere for dinner and out? For dinner I was hoping for somewhere that had either a pre-fixe menu or a large party menu to try to keep costs down. Hoping for a place with a fun atmosphere that wouldn't be offended by a bunch of girls being a little loud and slightly obnoxious after a few drinks.

For out after I am not interested in places like Lips, Lucky Chengs, or Culture Club. I'd love something a little trendy, again fun for a group of girls, but not breaking the bank.

Please let me know if you think of anything. Thanks so much!!

Mangia e Bevi closed! It closed about 2 years ago and I am still upset about it. Was such good food and fun atmosphere.

not sure if this will be near you but 1 Oak on w. 17th street is awesome! :)

I just saw that about Mangia e Bevi. Does anyone know anything like it? I love 1 Oak, I'm thinking that will be too expensive for my friends.

Why not save your girls' money and have pizza and silly games at the hotel you're staying in then do culture club? Everyone loves pizza and pin the penis on the hunk games

We can definitely do something like that. Only a few of us are staying but 15 girls are coming so the room will be tight, but I have no problem going to a cheap fun place for dinner. And I hate Culture Club, but trying to find something like it. I think I know what I'll wind up doing. Thanks so much for your help!

I love Valbella in the Meatpacking. From there, you can go to one of the lounges nearby (1Oak, The Darby, Boom Boom Room, SL, Griffin, Provacateur, etc).

As for brunch, I love Bagatelle or Beau Marchais... both are in the meatpacking... it's the fun, dance on tables type of brunch.

I just went there this weekend and the band was good. There was a girl from American Idol who came on the stage. The DJ was good also.
