Hello everyone! While I am planning my July wedding, I am also the MOH for my sister-to-be (and she's my MOH!). So we are planning a SURPRISE bachelorette party in NYC! I have lived in NYC for ten years, but have never been to a bachelorette party here. Anyone have any suggestions of a great place to have dinner, and dancing afterwards? Thanks all!!!

Re: NYC Bachelorette Party Planning Help!!!
i planned the bach party for my best friend last summer and we did this awesome thing in the city www.cityhunt.org its basically a scavenger hunt that is created about the bride and groom. you pick a specific area in the city and split up into groups, you're required to take pictures of certain things, situations and figure out the answer to a clue... that answer leads you to a bar and if your team is the first one there you get a free pitcher! it was a TON of fun!! plus we still got to drink and hang out together at each bar! we LOVED it! and its something soooo different! we did dinner before hand at carmines and had such a blast!! HTH!

I did my sis-in-law's (I was her MOH) Bachlorette party at Lucky Cheng's... the night I was there, wasn't so crazy but we still had a good ol time.
We also went to Miami for a long weekend, which was nice.

for my friend's Bach party we first ate at Caliente Cab Company (great mexican food!) and then went to Hunk-O-Rama where I got a lap dance against my will from a sweaty muscluar stripper dress up as a Roman LOL

I have been to a few bachelorette parties here and they are so fun.
My sister's bachelorette party was at Japas 38 we did karaoke all night in a private room. SO fun! and they included a ton of food and unlimited wine and sake!

For dinner I would go to Mangia E Bevi! Both times I went for a Bachelorette party I had a Great time and everyone still talks about it today.
For my sisters we went to the totally awesome 80s prom party at Webster Hall. I had the best time I am actually thinking about going for my bachelorette party becuase it was so much fun.
