How long until you got paid when you first got hired.... I'm hoping the rumors of three months aren't true... we'll be broke by then...

hee hee...good question. i heard that i'll get paid at the next pay cycle. that is b/c i just got my file number on friday! but b/c i just got my file number, about half my paperwork still needs to go out. so i don't know but good luck! i hear your pain!

I have heard that it's getting better- most of the new people I worked with in the past were paid by Nov. 15. Hopefully you will get something on Oct. 15.
It's so absurd to me that this happens to new teachers EVERY year. The DOE gets me mad sometimes.

I didnt get paid the first 2 cycles. I went to the ROC for an emergencycheck,and they said that I wasnt even on payroll yet. But they said that they took care of it and I should be getting paid the next time. Nag your payroll secretary
