NYC cake vendors

Anyone have great bakeries in NYC area for wedding cake. Taste and look important. MOB VERY concerned about cake tasting as good as it looks. Not sure why she has this obsession

THanks!

Confetti Cakes is great. Also Sylvia Weinstock is considered 'the best'. Good luck!

Sylvia Weinstock

I just saw Sylvia Weinstock on TV...she is amazing. I wish I could afford a cake from her. I know she charges $17 per person. It sounds initially but if you are having 200 people it turns out to be 3400 which isnt that bad for the most amazing cake you can get.
