NYC Danicing
Ok..my friends and I have plenty ideas to go out to eat but if you read my other posts you can tell we are struggling to find a place to go out dancing.Anyone hear of the following and what is your review...these are places recommended by friends and people on other boards....be honest 'cause I have never been to any. My crowd is 28-33 and mostly married or long term relationships and mostly nyc people.

Re: NYC Danicing
I would go to any of the places noted above...as for dancing.. I wouldn't say Eugene's, Eugene's is more of a sit around and look pretty place not a dancing place.. if you want more of a club feel, you can go to Float...call and make sure they still have a sat. night, which I'm sure they do.. it'll be fun!! If you can try and get comps and stamps to wonder about on the second floor!!I'll try and think of some more for you this weekend as well sweetie!!

Re: NYC Danicing
thanks for your quick responses....yeah..we are not really the sit around and look pretty type of crowd..we are the get drunk, dance and be silly (but look still pretty) types! Many of live or lived in Manhattan but not really that yuppie! We just like to party and have a good time. Definitely let me know if you think of anything else.

Re: NYC Danicing
To be honest, I say go with Discoteque.. but I will get you a couple of places as back-ups (it's a long night lol) I will get you guestlist info this weekend.. I just found out that my friends throw the party there on Sat.. =) so it's the old 151 crowd which is good.. ;)

Re: NYC Danicing
I used to go to Eugene all the time on Saturday nights, but I haven't been there since last year.
It's definitely more of a 'lounge' type of place, although the dance floor gets packed (but that's probably b/c it's so small.)I wasn't fond of NV, but that's b/c the ceilings were too low for my taste (I'm tall). I felt like I was in someone's basement.
Marcella knows her stuff! She's into the scene, so you can trust her opinions & info!!!!
