a place for overnight stay in midtown or downtown?
The place we usually bring the pup to is out east LI but we are having an overnight jack/jill party in the city so it doesn't make sense to bring her that way.
I'm super protective of my little girl so I'm looking for clean places with VERY good care!
My friend lives on 55th and 9th and dog sits sometimes in her apartment, as long as the dog gets along with her dog (usually they do). Let me know if you want info!

hey! when I have to board my dog I leave her at East Side Animal Hospital. its actually our vet, but they do boarding and day care. it makes me feel better knowing she is at the vet's in case anything goes wrong, and supposedly the boarded dogs get to play in the backyard with the daycare dogs when its nice out. she comes back clean and happy. even though the vet is very expensive, the boarding is very reasonable. they are on 52nd between 2nd and 1st.

She said they do overnights, this is what she said:
They are great – for group overnight stays, the dog are in their day care all day (they have an outdoor patio) and stay with the company owners and their dogs. They can also arrange for the dog to stay solo with one of their dog walkers/sitters (Zach walks Bailey and she loves him). Group overnight stays are $40; individual stays are $50.

This is PERFECT. I'm going to call/visit both places and choose one. I much prefer going somewhere that I know ppl have experience going to. My dog is like my little child. I can't imagine how protective I'm going to be with actual children!

I have a mini schnauzer. She's on the right in this pic along side her friend Daisy.
