I just had an employee tell me she was mugged on the way to see me this morning. 10:00 am, broad daylight, a block from her apartment on a busy street in the village. 3 teenage looking boys snatched her bag and she fell to the ground. She is OKAY, people from the coffee shop across the street helped her up and called the police.
PLEASE girls pay attention and be careful! If ever attacked throw your bag to avoid any unnecessary entanglement...

yup, the only thing she is really worried about is she stupidly had her social security card in her wallet. hopefully these are dumb kids who don't know what to do with such info...

wow that sucks. i'm glad she's not hurt or anything. this is part of the reason i got one of those messenger bags. i felt too vulnerable with a purse over the shoulder. and i was always holding onto it for dear life which is not a comfortable way to walk!
