I heard mange e beve (I can't spell it!!) is supossed to be fun. I'm researching too for 9/28. I love ehat you wrote about the donuts!! I agree, I feel like I can't resist!! Rice cakes are no comparison to crispy cremes!!

Re: NYC Girls-places in the village
sha112009 -my bachelorette party is 9/28 too!I am searching for good clubs/lounges too! Something for an 28-33 age range crowd.
mangi e beve is ok..but it is a fun restuarant and it is in the 50's on the west side. If you want a fun restuarant closer to the village along the same theme try Puglia's. I went there for a bahelorette party and we weren't the only one there. It was a fun time. Food was ok and pretty cheap.
Naked Lunch is a fun place for 80's music. Mostly a bar with a small dance floor. (nothing like Culture Club besides the music). There is also 13 but I have never been there on a Saturday night so I am not sure what the crowd is like.

Re: NYC Girls-places in the village
that's too funny...maybe we will all see each other. let me know if anyone comes up with anything good. We are throwing around starting at Lips for dinner, drinks and entertainment. My friend went for her sister's bachelorette party and had a blast. But eating is not the problem...there are so many places to go to eat...we joke that now that we are all egtting older we know all the places to eat but not the places to drink and dance.
