Love Buddkan, such great food/drinks!!! FH and I love going there for our anniversary. I think its a great choice for dinner!! I have never been to Flute...so I can't comment. 230 5th is a great spot too! I love the views. The drinks are very pricey though. Maybe you can call and get a seating area reserved and you can get a bottle. Not sure how much cheaper that will make the drinks, but it could help maybe. Have a great time!!!!

My FAV place in all of NYC is a small gay bar they sing show tunes in all night!!!

Its called Marie's Chrisis. Its across the street from Jeckyl and Hydes.

But if thats your thing....its a GREAT time!

Re: nyc girls question

A way to keep prices down in terms of dinner is to go to somewhere near the Theater District. They have pre-fixed menus for all the shows. Becco is amazing it is on 46th between 8th and 9th. And if I remember correctly, every bottle of wine is $25. The only thing is you will definitely need a reservation.

Lips is always a good time. nothing more fun then hanging out with Drag queens. (If you like that type of stuff)

There are also a bunch of Karaoke places where you guys could rent a room. Some of them are BYOB and just rock out with your friends. The one I know of is next to Metro 53 on 53rd and 2nd.

Hope this helps

I had my girlfriend's bachelorette party at Essex on the Lower East Side. We did a price fix meal with OPEN bar for about $60 per person. The meal was delicious and included appetizer and entree. We brought in cupcakes from Sugar Sweet Sunshine.
