I've been to Lucky Chengs.. its fun but VERY expensive and the food is different - kind of an Asian fusion type place

Well with everyone trekking to the city (which is usually more of a hassle than driving to LI), I figured lets do something that we really cant do on the island... Plus, food tends to be a bit more expensive in the city so if I had the option, I'd rather do something fun and diff as oppossed to going to eat at a place where I could have eaten similar food for less $$ around the block from me...

I'm not sure i'll be able to go because its one of my friends birthdays that week, and she might want to celebrate that weekend So I guess it's going to be a last minute decision for me...

I had my birthday there last June. It is a good place. They play good music. They have 2 floors, and a rooftop, but obvs you won't be able to use it in Feb. Its a very college crowd though...NYU bar.

I have been to lucky Chengs also and the food was not good AT ALL!!!!
I was really shy also but, most of the girls seemed to really enjoy the entertainment. I would rather not do that again.

bar 13 is nice ive been there with FH, its within walking dirstance of my house, im down for whatever, we can even try Bowlmor Lanes near union square, they have bowling, pool and a bar

Bowlmor could be fun. We can get drinks and appetizers there. I went there a couple of times with company events and once to bowl. Union Square is a good central location as well.
