Janie, you can take the C or the E to 50th Street (8th ave) you can catch BOTH at Port Authority.

Are you starting from the 7? Because then you can climb up the stairs and follow the signs to the A/C/E line.

Janie, you can take the C or the E to 50th Street (8th ave) you can catch BOTH at Port Authority.

It's on the same line as the A train which runs along 8th Ave.
