Anyone have a recommendation for a hotel in NYC in the midtown or east side areas? We are looking for a place to stay over the night of the bachlorette party.
thanks!

Re: NYC HOTEL
for a b-party I would stay at a W. Times Sq, 39th and Lex or Union Sq.
Other possibilities are the Paramount- on like 46th near Times Sq. or the Shoream (sp?) on 55th.

Re: NYC HOTEL
My aunt just stayed at the W times square, although it was uber chic and uber modern, the halls to the rooms are black, and the rooms are tiny. I'm miss trendy don't get me wrong, but I just though the room area was gloomy, a nice hotel to hang out in, but thats it...Try the Hudson....if you don't def have to stay in midtown try the new hotel gravensroot, or the maritime hotel....

Re: NYC HOTEL
Hi - I work for Starwood Hotels and we have 11 hotels in NYC - Sheratons, Westin, 5 W Hotels, St. Regis, Essex House. The Essex House would be really nice, or the Sheraton Russell on Park and 37th street is nice too.
There is also hotel near my apt - the Bentley Hotel. It's on York Ave and 63rd st I think. I have never been there, but almost went to a New Year's Eve event there last year.
FYI - If you are planning to do it between now and Xmas - be prepared to pay premium rates! This time of year the rates are CRAZY!!!
Good Luck!

Re: NYC HOTEL
Try Sofitel on 44th Street. (I think it's between 6th and 7th.) It's absolutely beautiful. Classy and hip without being too much. You can get get a discount by booking the room with a code from playbill.com. You just have to sign up for a free membership on the site to view theatre, restaurant and hotel discounts.

Re: NYC HOTEL
Le Parker Meridien is a fun midtown hotel (although I must admit that I am a little biased! ) Check it out: www.parkermeridien.com
