NYC hotels after reception

Ladies,

Have any of you stayed or staying at a NYC hotel after your wedding reception? My FH and I are planning on doing that and pretending to be tourists for a day or 2 in nYC , even though both of us work in the city. I am looking for a nice hotel that also offers some kind of newlywed package - like late check out, or breakfast etc. Our budget is up to $250 a night.

check with the W hotel. WE stayed at the Times Sq one years ago. Its a cool hotel. When you call, see if they have a package.

they also have one in Union sq.

I would say stay away from the Affinia Manhattan; the rooms are very small and their extra blankets were dirty and disgusting. The AC was unplugged in our room but it was still freezing.

My friend stayed at the Radissan on her wedding night and I didn't hear any complaints from her about it.

Try the Hotel Pennsylvania, the Roosevelt, the W New York, the Wyndham, etc. There are a lot of hotels, just go to Hotels.com and look up reviews and prices.

I use to work in the hotels-- in boutique hotels in the city. I think your better off going to one of them calling them up personally and giving them the sob story of how its your wedding you really dont have any $ and would appreciate anything they can do for you like upgrades etc.... (lol people would always call and do this) and I didnt care i would just go and upgrade them-- so give it a shot!
