how do I find 401 Broadway..... NEar canal?? what subway do I take, etc..... be very detailed, i am not a city person and I cannot reach the place where I have to go there is always a damn machine on

it looks to me like you can take the a,c,e train from penn to canal street. this brings you out at canal and ave of the americas. you then need to walk down canal to broadway. someone else might have a better way though.

You can go to www.mta.info and then click 'NYC Transit' for maps, etc.

Take the A to canal, that will bring you to Canal and Ave of the America's.... Walk up Canal to Broadway (6 or so blocks). I used to take that exact route when I worked in Soho....That's pretty much the easiest way....
