NYC, LI vendor raves

Just wanted to share my great experiences with some vendors that I used for my wedding :: Vendors moderate to expensive prices- not cheap-
Great !
1. Birnbaum and Bullock dresses !!!!! Amazing experience !!! They have a high end line and a less expensive one - dresses under $1600- great quality and beautiful. Best part is the designers work directly with you and do all the fittings and they are amazing people. Their loft spaces is beautiful. They responded to all my questions right away and were easy to schedule with ! in Manhattan.
2. Photos- Joel Greenberg and Wendy Stewart photography-
Couple based in lower Manhattan near Brooklyn Bridge- artsy- more classic photos and photojournalistic- Joel Greenberg- so personable and amazing photos- non intrusive. Very responsive .
3. Band- Body Heat- we are an older couple- late 30's and found this band to play all the stuff we liked and their sound is amazing. 9 pieces so not cheap but great vocals and energy- everyone danced all night !!!! Younger couples who like pop music should probably look elswhere.
4. Florist- Scarsella's- on pricier end but Carolyn did an amazing job!
5. Hall- Woodbury Jewish center- Amazing !!!!!!
6. Yussel's Place in Merrick for Judaica- great !
7. Inkspun for machine calligraphy- so helpful and did our placecards in one day!
