I am planning my birthday, and was wondering if you girls knew of any good places like a lounge/restaurant... that would be fun to go too.

I've heard nothing but good things about One. Not exactly sure where it is but I could find out if you need. It could get a little expensive though.

I love Tao, its trendy fun, theres music and a big bar, and its one of the best thai food places in the city.

i've been to buddha bar a few times great place!!! u can have dinner or just go for drinks or both!!

One is located at one little west 12th street. it's really cool. you can go to eat and then hang out there afterwards.

I was gonna suggest that too, its in the meat packing district.
Also Thor which is inside the Rivington hotel is pretty cool and good food. Its on Rivington and Essex

I like Nikki Beach...it is casual with white couches all around the room to sit back and relax on...then the banquet tables in the middle of the room become the dancefloor and you get up on the tables and dance! The music is always great but the best is the MOJITOS!

yeah its not a typical club, very relaxed atmosphere
