Hi everyone! I'm planning a 30th birthday party/graduation party (MBA) for my husband and I'd like to rent a room in a bar in Manhattan. (A few hours, open bar, appetizers, that kind of thing) Does anyone have any recommendations?

Harmony View in midtown..50th & bway. I do functions there for my office and it's always a good time and very reasonable.
The owner is Emmet and he is the sweetest.
Nice new space with good sound system and really high ceilings..awesome bartenders and good eats-nothing fancy but good.

believe it or not the havana room (attached to mo's carribean) was redone and pretty nice and totally private. Link

Off the Wagon has an upstairs section with a bar. Also, Metro 53 has a few rooms as well.
