Well that is the one thing my mom has been adamant about paying for is the invites. Yet FMIL wants the liner in and says she will pay for that.

I guess thats what we dont have to worry about as we are paying for it all on our own, and at this point I wish I had family friends to invite...lol.....

How long did your guys dress's take to come in...making sure if I put that part off, its not put off tOO long...

I ordered mine in Jan they told me the end of may it would be here

Back to that thing about paying. Me and FH are paying for it all ourselves. Just every once in a while our parents will throw in a little something about throwing in money to pay for this or that, but we have yet to see anything. Now his parents added to our guest list and said if we go over our min they would pay for the extra plates....yea sure ok

to make sure you have it..no later than aug sept...but you can look now and ask how long it takes to get the dress...just keep a log of the store...
I went to Bridal Reflections and they told me it would be this long

i understand that somewhat...My dad is helping out A LOT... but my FMIL (FH's parents are dirvorced)...is not helping AT ALL and expects us to invite people that are her firends..I wouldn't mind 1 maybe 2 friends but not 5-6..!

Thanks for the advice...I needed a good time fram to know of.....It may sound silly but I'm a normal sixe 6-8 which is ok with me, over teh last 8-12 months I put on like 50 extra lbs, thats not normal for me so I wouldnt be comfortable getting a dress yet, its not even that I want to be skinnier, I am just USED to be skinner....long story...but thanks again....

you can still go look...just to narrow down style of the dress you may want...I highly suggest going to the store with some ideas but try on ones you might not think you like...When i saw my dress i was sure it would be a no!! Thankfully my mom made me try it on

Oh I can totally relate to that. My FMIL was all about wedding planning and telling me how things need to get done quick. Yet I haven't heard from her in about a month and half. When we used to normally gab all the time. I think she thinks she might spill about my Bridal shower, little does she know I already know!!!
