NYS disability

I believe they are two different programs....


NYS Disability pays you a certain amount weekly for 6 weeks for v-birth and 8 weeks for c-section.

The FMLA is a law to safeguard your job for up to three months. The company must have more then 50 employees and you must work for 20 consecutive weeks to be eligible. This is unpaid time.

I believe disability & FMLA run concurrently but I am not positive.
