Any one on this board went through New York Sports Club's buff bride program? I'm curious if this program is worth the money or if I should find my own personal trainer?

I bought the book too but honestly I think any personal trainer you get can help you out--it is really up to you & your motivation.

I think most trainers can do something for you. I work out at crunch 2 times a week with a trainer and it had been great.
I'm down over 10 pounds and full of energy.

Not sure where you live, but another alternative are boot camps in the local parks that are often less expensive. They work you really hard, but it's fun (most mornings anyhow!) I'm doing one in Brooklyn and love it. I've halfway done with my 6-week session and feel much more toned and energetic already.
I like to watch the Buff Brides on TV. I'll sit there with a bag of chips or something and eat while they're working out! I don't do exercise!!

Not sure where you live but the one I go to in Queens...its 24 one hour sessions for $1200...
I'm thinking about doing it...only bc I have been in a huge rut at the gym for the last 6 months...I go 5-6 days a week and nothngs working...I watch what I eat and yet I still keep gaining and losing the same 5 frigging lbs...
My girlfriend has been doing it since Feb (she's getting married in Sept)...she is so toned (which is what she wanted) and says that it is worth every penny...I guess it depends on how bad you want it and if you have the money to spend on it...

Re: NYSC Buff Bride Program
I just started the program, last night was the first session with my trainer. I can hardly move but it was great. The amount of money I spent and knowing that I have an appointment twice a week is what is motivating me. But as per my trainer in order to see results quicker, I have to do my homework, which is cardio at least 3 times a week, which is in additional to my twice a week workout with him.
