me: 'why?'
FH 'we are jews'

You can tell him my FIL's are jewish and are paying for the RD lol

then he text me back saying:

we could have a dinner but no rehersal thing, jewish people dont do that'

I've been told jewish people don't do favors at weddings... I don't know if this is true or not, but it sounds a whole lot like I don't wanna do that to me lol

yea that is true (from what I heard from his family) but half my family is Greek. I don't give a crap what Fh says about this LOL

LOL! FMIL said 'oh you are having favors?' and I said 'yes, I have a few ideas.' End of story.

As for the RD, we cant rehearse so we are hosting the Welcome Dinner, which FH and I will pay for. And lose our minds in the process........

I honestly think that's 100% an excuse. Instead of having your FH ask them to pay for the 'rehearsal dinner,' have him ask them to take out your bridal party to dinner! Unless they claim that Jews don't go out to dinner, they'll have to give another reason.
