it was at my grandmother's house because I wanted it to be informal, but then I ended up turning it into a mehndi {application of henna} party.

vanessa thats great. i cant wait to see pics.

Anytime I see a post for vanessa i alwyas expect to open and see that someone heard 'all my life' on the radio...

I guess it can be anything you want to make out of it. For me, it was a way of having all my girls get together and see my visions all at once. It was a way of really kick starting the wedding planning with them.

I made up newletters detailing all the things they need to know about being a bridesmaid so that the costs won't sneak up on them. It was the first time some of them had seen the dress and shoes I picked out.

I made it fun by giving out gift bags to them and I hired a mehndi artist to do henna on everyone.

It's not neccessary to do, but I wanted to get everyone together instead of telling each girl one at a time and sending emails back and forth.
