i need a good reliable place to take my dressed for drycleaning and to have it packed up (preserved) can you recomend anyone.. i live in suffolk county .. thanks..
I bought my gown at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and they did it for me. Check the place where you purchased your gown & see what they say. I believe they used the Wedding Gown Preservation Company. I dropped it off at the store, they shipped it out to be cleaned & preserved, & it was mailed directly to my house.
I took it to Bridal Elegance (Phyllis) and it cost me $150 and I got it back after 4-5 weeks.
we used our local cleaners and it was sooo much cheaper than Bridal Salons for the same thing. I had my preseverated, startched and sugar prevented for my dress, slip & veil (all packaged in different boxes) for $200.
If you're in the Commack area I know Helen's Bridal can send it out for you to have it preserved.
