Oakdale Arboretum for photos

Anyone take pictures here? My photographer suggested it and sounds like a good idea but was wondering if anyone had pictures from there to share?

If I was getting married closer I would take pics there...but we're so far away and our reception hall has beautiful grounds...

Anyway...we took our photos for our STD magnets there... below is one of them

My FSIL did and it was really nice..sorry I dont have pics to show.
It does have a site fee to use the premises.

FYI, I just called them recently about taking pics there. First of all it gorgeous there. All you have to do is pay the normal parking fee. It's a little more for a limo, but definitely not over $10.00. The only bad thing is that you cannot take indoor pics there, I thought you could but Nope!

Their web site is amazing you should check it out! I am also getting married at CLM can you tell me how far it is from the hall?

Well CLM is about 16 miles from my parents' house in Hauppauge and the Arboretum is probably about 8-10 miles east of there, so 25-30 miles I would guess....I have a big gap in between so it's not a problem for us. Hope that helped.

We took pics for my best friend's wedding at the Arboretum. I don't have any of them, though. They looked really nice.

P.S. I don't live far from there and i am probably going to get my photos done there as well. Call me crazy but i went to the Arboretum a few weeks ago and they have the greenest grass, lol. I am going to go again on my wedding date this year to make sure the right flowers are in bloom for when i get married in 2 years.
