So today before class started, everyone was sitting outside of the room on the floor of the hallway, lined up against the wall. Then this girl in my class comes strolling up and down in the middle of everyone like she's walking on a runway (picture an aisle with people lined up against both walls, and her pacing back and forth in the middle of the aisle while people are at the sides). So she's on her cell phone talking all loud about her wedding plans and the dresses she liked and things like that...so everyone is rolling their eyes and i'm like 'why does everyone need to hear about her wedding??' I started wondering if she was just trying to get attention and let everyone know about her wedding..but then I gave her the benefit of the doubt and I was like she probably was so preoocupied with her phone call that she didn't realize how impolite she was being..fast forward to class: the professor happened to mention that the divorce rate was over %50 in NY and this girl proceeds to cut the professor off and announce to everyone that GOD FORBID that that's true because she's getting married in a year (who cares??)...and get this, she then goes out to stick out her left hand in the air to show off her ring! Where do these people come from? Let's just make sure we never get to that point...

I think if i was in the class, i'd have to laugh at what a fool she made of herself. I get that she is happy and excited about being engaged and getting married, i'm sure we've all semi been like that at one point, but thats to the extreme

Can i just say i HATE when ppl talk that loud on the phone REGARDLESS of what it is...some of them are insane, its such personal stuff and they want the world to know, its like you do realize you look like trash.

totally agree. i remember eating at a diner with DH--and this girl was eating alone....and talked loud on her phone the WHOLE TIME. did i need to hear about her drunken sex with some guy? or about the fact that she totally had her period? i was so angry--i asked to be moved.

I hate when people do that, too. I also HATEHATEHATE when people sitting next to you BLAST their ipod to the point that it sounds like they are listening to a radio. Dont they worry about damaging their hearing?

thats exactly the type of things im talking about, like seriously you want ppl to know all of this, and i really don't care...ESPECIALLY in the morning, please just be quiet, even today on the LIRR this girl talked so loud the WHOLE TIME!!! and about her problems with her bf and a bunch of other personal things.
