Obvious advice that may not be so Obvious!!
If it's one piece of advice i may offer a bride to be, it's to 'research all vendors in a particular category.'
I was recently freaking out a bit because my flower budget was being exceeded but about $1,000. I went to three other vendors and all came within the same zone.
I decided to continue my search just to quadruple make sure i was getting ripped off (i couldn't fathom spending $3,300 for 12 centerpieces!!!) and low and behold, i have found quotes for $800- $1000 cheaper!
Granted i have visited 6 florists and although this may seem a tad much, i would have never found an affordable florist had I gone with any of the first three.
Even after reading the reviews on here, I thought, 'ugh, maybe this person is out of my price range,' but in actuality, the vendors i thought were going to be pricey, were actually the most affordable.
Soooo, lesson is 'Make sure you do your homework:)'
