DH and I recently got back from our delayed honeymoon in Aruba. For anyone considering staying at the Occidental Grand Aruba, my advice is do it! We had an amazing time. The room and the view were beautiful, the service and the food were great, and the all-inclusive is amazing. We went sailing and had a great time. The swim-up bar is one of my favorite parts. We also did a couple of activities that were not part of the all-inclusive deal but were well worth it. We rode horses on the beach, and we rented a quad and went sight-seeing all over the island. Renting the quad and driving all over the island was the best. I do recommend demanding helmets, though. DH flipped the quad and we had to go to the hospital because he hurt his shoulder. There was another family there who got in an accident with the quads and the son broke his arm and had a big gash on his forehead. I am thankful DH did not hit his head or break anything. I had asked the guy we rented from for helmets and he said 'you don't need them.' Anyway, it was fun, and we saw the lighthouse, two natural bridges, ruins, Baby Beach, and more.

Thanks for the heads up on the quads. I am sure we will rent them as well. Sounds like a lot of fun and a great way to sight see.
