hey, anyone ever been there?i was thinking of maybe a weekend there for my bach party...i have no idea whats there or how expensive it is so any infowould be appreciated tia girls

Yes! I went to school down in MD and went to Ocean City a few times and it's a lot of fun! Tons of bars and beachy stuff with a huge boardwalk! Good for a bachlorette trip!

My family owned a house there since I was 5, but they now have a house in DE. Check out the Holiday Inn that has the pool bar. It's on 67th street. Also, check out realty agencies b/c rentals are done and you may get a good deal. Most places will have a 2 night min. in the summer. As for bars, you must go to Seacrets, Fish Tales, Fagers Island. Go to Seacrets during the day, too. You can lay in innertubes in the bay and they serve you frozen drinks. My fav restaurant is Mackeys, they have a private beach. Dewey Beach, DE is another great spot. FM me for more info.

ooh sounds great..i just have one question..we wont prob go till october..is that a bad time to go?is all the good stuff only in the summer

Hmm, well there are great outlets in Rehobeth, DE about 45 mins from OC. I found on some site that Seacrets is open till Oct. 15th. The boardwalk games will be open, not sure about rides. But keep in mind it's not that much diff. weather wise than LI, so maybe not the best beach/pool weather. you never know, and you can always book a hotel with an indoor pool.

Seacrets is the best!!! HUGE club/bar with tons of different rooms/areas with diff music/bands--- we had a blast!!

They won't be empty, but it doesn't have a large locals population. My aunt and uncle live there year round, and the average age is retired. :) You can still def. have a good time, maybe look into a holiday weekend so more people will be there. If you just want to do a bar thing in the same vicinity, check out Baltimore, my hometown!!!

oc is awesome... highly recommend it... would you be willing to go away for like memorial day weekend instead? it will def be a party then... ive only been there in the summer so not sure what its like in oct...
seacrets is the best place to go... tons of fun there... i also spent alot of time at party block (another bar/club) ... depending on where you stay and what wekeend, it could be expensive... but generally, i think its a great getaway... ive been going every 4th of july for the past few yrs so we end up paying a bit higher prices...
we are considering VA beach for mine... im assuming its along the same lines as oc... check hotwire for deals
