Re: OctBride03's Log

What do you think??? LOL!!

Soy chips.... hmmm... how can I explain it... Well they sort of have the consistency of a mini rice cake, but not as hard. The bag I have is Sweet BBQ. Not too bad.... has an after taste of a regular chip I guess.... They are not bad...

Re: OctBride03's Log

Hi ladies! Thought I'd post in my log, I've been neglecting it, poor thing

Anyway, here's something I'm proud of! My house ran out of the 94% fat free micro popcorn & all we had left was regular. It is 3pts per 3 cups. I am totally used to eating the entire bag for 2pts. I was almost going to do it and then BAM! I measured out the three cups and gave the rest away! I ate each popped corn one by one - too keep me from finishing too quick! I was proud of myself last night, thought I'd share!

Thanks!!! I brushed my teeth afterwards in order to avoid having more! I guess I'm happy, but boy was the regular popcorn yummy!

Re: OctBride03's Log

My FH doesn't like popcorn, so I have gotten into a habbit of not getting it at the movies, b/c I can never eat the whole bag...

Re: OctBride03's Log

Today so far:

Breakfast shake - 3pts.
Salad for lunch w/ artichoke hearts, chick peas, & olives, broccoli & balsamic vinegar - 5pts. (I think I went too high, but better than too low)

So 8pts for today! Woohoo!!! I wanted to get an orange, but the cafeteria here just has fruit salad, BLAH!

Re: OctBride03's Log

I think I have hit my pts for today!!!

huge breakfast, then snacks, so by lunchtime I had 9 points.

Then i had curry beef noodle soup, which now makes me feel fat, and one of those 2 pt bars that I dont like (i wanted something sweet)...

I have no idea how much soup was, I am assuming 10 pts at least, its chinese cuisine, definietly not good.

Re: OctBride03's Log

Guess what ladies! I SAVED 8pts from yesterday for today!!! WOOHOOO!!!

Probably not the best thing to do! I am soooooooooo hungry!

Re: OctBride03's Log

Oooo Awesome!!! if you're hungry, have a tablespoon of peanut butter, it should stop the hunger till lunchtime.

Re: OctBride03's Log

hmmmmmmm..... is that a little trick? I should try that once! Unfortunately I'm at work, no peanut butter here

Thanks Alina for the little tip!

Re: OctBride03's Log

can you eat a few peanuts? Yes its a tiny trick..
A tablespoon is only 2 pts, but fat blocks you hunger receptors and basically, since peanut butter is high in fat/serving, it does the trick... I am suggesting peanut butter, b/c its the only small fatty thing that I could think of that's relatively healthy. Avocado may work too, but I haven't tried it.

YAY!!! Thanks! I will definately try that! I may even go out and buy peanut butter! haha! I like that little trick!

I am just glad that papa joe's is italian. I would be more likely to eat more if it was mexican or some other kind of spicy food.
