We're sending ours out a bit earlier since most are going out of state.
We get our invites in 12 days max!! (so excited) So by July 9 I'm sending my father his set (40) and giving Jim's grandmother and mother their sets (another 40). Jim and I hope to mail out our invites no later than July 16th.
RSVP is 9/15

OIC.....RSVP for me is Sept 20th so we're on the same track....YEA! It's so much fun. Where did you get your tuxes? I'm having such a hard time picking one out. There are so many to choose from

Do you have shoes? Crioline (puffy slip -what I call it) Ive been so lazy about this. When the heck is our first fitting? Are you trying to lose weight? Im thinking of cutting off Coke (AAHHH) in August (or mid July). My BM dresses are ordered but don't really know when they'll get here. Tuxes are up to Jim and he's shocked it's time to look. Need to order my favors late July
July is gonna be a busy month and it's just around the corner!!!

We know what we want
But Jim wants a full back vest. I think we've found only two places that have it. Tuxedo Park & Afterhours in Roosevelt. But Jim wants After Hours to actually HAVE one he can try on and they dont.
Yea I had to get my shoes when I ordered my dress in November of 03 so I've been waiting until Aug to stretch them out and wear them ALL DAY!! Our first fitting should be late August I believe, at least that's what they're telling me at the bridal shop. My MOH and BM (I only have 2) picked up their dresses already along with my mother. We have them hanging in our house. I've been 'kinda' dieting. I gave up soda Jan 03 which was SO hard but after a while you get used to not drinking it. It does help you lose weight though. What does your BM dress look like? I'm going to try and attach mine. What are you going to do for favors?
Their dress is the lady who is sitting down with the long sleeves!!! In navy blue!
Invtiations: will be printed by the end of July, then sent to either a hand or computer calligrapher. I am thinking about getting a wax seal. Will send them out in mid-August.
Programs: FH STILL cannot decide on his best man, so until that's straightened out, the programs will wait.
Limos: still not booked
Shoes: been looking on bridalshoes.com, saw a pair I really like but am worried about buying shoes on line even though I can return them.
Gown: first seamstress appointment in 2 weeks.
Music for ceremony: still not done
Favors came in, need to buy organza bags to put them in.
Can't decide on a fist dance song: maybe 'Blue Moon'

wow, sounds like you're in our 'boat' c'mon in! I guess we're on the right track. Do you have a picture of your dress?

I haven't figured out the music either. Here's my dress and my bm dresses
Im thinking of fingerless gloves.. I like the look but Im not sure how it would look with the dress. I want them to be under the elbow or at most just above because the sleeves are off the shoulder.
*shrug*

I like how the girl on the dress is wearing the gloves. It really brings out the elegance of the dress! Very pretty! Are you doing fall flowers?
