Good Morning ladies!!!

I just want to thank everyone who chose me!! I am so excited to be your botw!!!

Our first question has to do with planning...

***What do you love most and dislike most about planning??? Let's leave out the waiting, the $$$ , and the fact that we get to marry FH when it is all over (bec I feel that we all to some degree feel this way!***

Love: I love EVERYTHING about the planning process!! I think I am really good at and have not found any part of this unenjoyable! I want to at some point make this more than just for my wedding, and plan and doc for others!!!

Dislike: VENDORS! the vendors who do not want to give you the time of day because of our date! NO PATIENCE for this!!

YAY!!! FIRST 2011 QOTD!!!!

I HATE making choices. I hate having to compromise one thing to get another and prioritize what I want fause I want it all.

Also, I hate not knowing what I'm getting into and the research is OVERWHELMING (curently stressing over how to approcah choosing a photog)

I love how lucky I am though, that FH is super willing and excited to help and come to things with me cause I can't make all these choices by myself. It's not just my wedding.

Christina, you'd make an awesome planner/ DOC, maybe I should hire you!!

Haha! Yay for the first question!

Love: I love thinking about how all of the different elements are going to come together. I am a very detail oriented person and I love picking out colors, designs, etc.

Hate: I hate that I have so many idea! It's so hard to choose one theme and go with it!

LOVE:
The whole process actually. I love looking at invitations, picking my flowers, deciding how to decorate the RH, researching photographers and especially the dress shopping Best part is FI and I have already got a lot of things picked out and decided, all we have to do is sit back and wait until a suitable time to start purchasing things and putting our ideas into action.

DISLIKE:
Even though I have not even gotten to this part (but I know it's going to be a headache) is limos/transportation and the hotels. We have a lot of OOT guests and guests that I know are going to take advantage and enjoy the open bar (us included) and I want to make sure that they all have a safe ride home later. As far as the hotels, I would love to have a honeymoon suite and block off the rooms directly next to it to have a little after party with whomever is staying in at the hotel, but FI doesn't think this is a good idea. We've been going back forth with this and it's already driving me crazy and it's one of the last things I need to be worrying about right now.

LOVE - everything! I've (and I'm sure you all) have been dreaming about this for a LONG LONGGGGG time and I'm so excited to actually pick everything out! love looking online and thru magazines for ideas. After 10 years, I can't believe this time is actually here!

DISLIKE - second guessing myself. The only major decision we've made so far was booking the RH and even tho beforehand, we knew we were IN LOVE with the place, I couldn't help worrying that we made a wrong decision! Its just so major that I guess you get nervous about everything. Plus, we're both perfectionists so that does not help!

LOVE - Everything! yes im one of those girls (im sure like most of you) who have been dreaming of this day since i knew what a wedding was! Its so much to think about wedding dresses and the flowers ...I love going on wedding sites..reading bridal magazines....its so much fun.

DISLIKE - The choices!! there are soo many choices...the only real major decision i have made so far is my RH. I go back and forth on a color scheme almost everyday..i really need to stop second guessing myself and relax..i just cant imagine my day not being perfect ...oh the stress!

I hate making choices between vendors, I keep feeling like I'm going to make a mistake and regret it big time. I hope they all work out.

I love planning in general. Now I know why so many people want to be a wedding planner.

HATE: ppl judging my decisions (oh thats what your gonna do?) Really pisses me off.... also dealing with FILs is not sooo fun! Luckily FH is GREAT abt dealing with them!!

LOVE: OMG every single thing about the planning & researching process! haha I too Christina feel that I belong in the wedding business somewhere some day just not sure where yet! haha we should start our own business! haha..I really do enjoy it all though I have to say. & FH teases me that it's a good thing we have such a long engagement because I'd have withdrawls if it were too soon! haha

HATE: everyone else's comments..especially people who aren't even invited! like why can't people just keep their comment to themselves!..I've learned to not give a 'SHIZ'..haha

also I have annoying family memebers that just assume their children will be in my bridal party after not seeing them for 20 years!..well not the kids, but my uncle! but I don't even know my cousins I've met them about 3 times..& after my grandma passed away he's been up our butts! like where the hell were you when she was crying for you & your kids for years!..well it casued a huge fight between my mom & I can I tell you we NEVER fight..he asked her if the kids would be in it & she said YES! like im sorry 1981 is over mom & this is not your wedding!..i was furious! how could she when she knows that I already wasn't going to ask them! so all during my dress shopping we weren't really speaking so that was nice. From that point on I decided to not let anyone take the joy out of anything I do for my wedding again!..but there is still some tension when it is brought up.. wow I sound like such a bridezilla haha I'm really not thoguh I swear

LOVE::: I love having control over our wedding ...ahhh decor & palettes! i love it ... cant wait to see my vision come to life

HATE:: Associates,Papparazzi, Reporters .... what ever you want to call them .... self inviting themselves to our wedding .... 'cant wait for my invite!!' ... they are in for a big surprize...

Love- I absolutely loooove planning the whole thing, and I'm so excited that I get to plan this amazing party for our family and friends.

Hate-I hate all the choices brides have today, I'm super indecisive with just about everything in my life, and wedding planning is no exception! I also hate how much $$$ we're paying lol!

Love - designing all my invites/stds/placecards/menus/programs/etc b/c I've always done them for everyone else and now I get to do them for ME

Hate - still being uncertain just how many people we are having...thought we were inviting 200 but it's looking closer to 250...doesn't really matter for our RH, but I'd still like to know

It's not your wedding, leave me alone!!! lol...As well as people asking us why are wasting so much money on one day..if I had a dime for everytime someone has mentioned to us that we could use this money for a downpayment on a house, we would have been able to pay off the wedding already!! Once again, it's our wedding, our money, leave us alone. If we wanted a small wedding we would have done it that way!

omg me too with the buying a house thing like shut the heck up! mind your business! I just say I am so happpy & this is what we want & walk away I don't care what they think. They're like well don't think you're getting back what you paid for it..blah blah..I wish there was a mute button sometimes..but at least we all have eachother to vent to ...

I love everything about wedding planning! The thing that I love most is being able to create my dream wedding. I love when FH and I finally find vendors that we fall in love with that will be incorporated into our day. I also love thinking about and planning all of the small details that will be incorporated into our wedding day.

The thing that I dislike most about wedding planning is the fact that I can get my mind set on something that may not work out in the end. This has happened to me already during my planning and I ended up very disappointed. Going forward, I am trying not get my mind set on anything; therefore, I'm basically just trying to keep an open mind about everything in case something doesn't work out before booking a vendor.
