What, if anything, do all the October brides out there have left to do??

Wedding Date: 10/12/02 (can't believe less than a month!)

I still have:
Placecards
Some Programs to Print
Finalizing the Menu

I know there's more. I just can't think straight right now

Follow up with vendors

Basically now, Im focusing my attention on fixing up my apartment.

Tons to do and the wedding is only 3 weeks away!

Get all RSVPS (still waiting for some, f*%&ing rude people)
Figure out seating (started this but its sooo hard)
Make placecard candles
Finish menus
Finish wrapping/assembling BM gifts
Buy Fh's gift; RD Outfit; Pantyhose; more candles, more ribbon;
Assemble programs
Make rose petal cones
Pack for honeymoon'

And even more crap that I can't remember

October 13th here and left to do for me is:

1) Hotel bags
2) Make place cards, did seating arrangements (which surprisingly took 15 minutes!)
3) Follow up with vendors
4) Get FH to finish his GM's gifts-argh
5) Fittings

Am I missing stuff? I am sure I am...other October girls please respond and help me out!

I have a lot more than you guys - but I am the last week in October...plus I have had a rough last week (couple deaths in family - makes you realize how little the wedding really is).

-Get in touch with church to plan my ceremony (so I do programs, book rehearsal dinner, etc.) Priest never calls me back!

-Dye wedding shoes

-Waiting on responses - then seating chart -then Place Cards (waiting to get mini-pumpkins and table arangements)

-Finish attendants, parents, FI and reader gifts.

-Waiting for my diamond wedidng band to come in.

-Honeymoon - pack, get little things

-Meet with Florist

-Meet with Hall (next week!)

-Dress - 2nd Fitting-1st week in October

-Get directions to vendors

-Finalize timings with florist, photo, video and limos

-Figure out Tips

-Waiting for Favors to come in

-Buy Table Cameras

-Ring Bearer pillow, unity candle

-Makeup person ?? deciding if I sould get one or do my own - first trial went so so.

-Make FI book that shuttle bus we have had a contract for 2 weeks -that was on FI's list

-Bathroom Baskets

-Stockings

-Should I do special table numbers

-Music List - get a wedding song - I have no clue -

-Hotels

So many little things - most of which can't be done til the week/month before!

Oct. 13 here. One month today!!

I have to do:

Seating arrangements (and still waiting for 20 rude people to respond! Today was the last day!)
wrap favors
meet w/ priest and finalize programs
pick up wedding band and get FH's engraved
get FH gift
finish shopping for BM's. (just need to p/u gift cert.
meet with florist today
touch base with all vendors
and pay final balances!

What else? Am I missing something? I have to be!!

Has time flown by for us, or what???

It is amazing...Hard to believe it's here already.

He proposed almost a year ago on Oct 11th, and I thought the day would never get here.

We're down to the fine details now. Are you getting nervous??

Hey girls! I'm not really nervous, I just want the day to get here already!!!

lemme see....hmm...

1. I have to finish placecards, (I think I have like five left to do).
2. Meet with Florist
3. Pack for mini Honeymoon (taking real one in November)
4. Pick out a place to take photos the day of (I think I'm going with Planting Fields).
5. Wrap the rest of the bridal party gifts.
6. Get sign-in SOMETHING.....I STILL haven't figured out what I'm doing for this!! URGH!!!
7. Give vendors final call like the week before.
we just made final payments this week.
8. Final dress fitting this Saturday
9. Get veil steamed

Phew!!!! 21 days to go!!!!

Oh man, I am working on over a 2 year engagement so can you imagine how much I want this to be here?????

I am not really nervous at all, maybe it will kick in soon but I hope not. My MOH got married a year ago and she was so calm and cool and I want to be just like that, she is in my inspiration!!!

Now I'm upset that I looked at the stupid Farmers Almanac and it called for rain on our day!

let's pray it doesn't rain...that would be a bummer...

I have to many other things to worry about than the weather!

I can't believe we have less than 30 days!! Where did it go?? I still have to:
do place cards(still looking for fall ideas!)
get FH to get gifts for his guys(I'm glad I'm not the only one whose FH is slacking!!)
get RD outfit
get candles for centerpieces
have fittings)me & Girls & Mom)
call vendors to check in

Print out menu cards, table names
assemble programs
buy and write out placecards
finish wrapping favors
find shawl for RD dress
confirm start times with all vendors
send them direction cards
pick up my shoes
2 more fittings scheduled
pick menu for RD

Does anyone else feel like their TO DO list was once huge and now it has whittled down to a few items and you STILL feel like there is a ton more to do that you must be forgetting??

Well I can't believe it is almost October....we still need to

-make calls to all the rude people who have not responded

-figure out seating when we do finally get an answer out of them

-make seating cards

-finalize ceremony details

-wrap and mail BM and reader gifts to my aunts house

-finish, print and put together programs

-get bubbles

-order hankies for parents

-follow up with vendors

-make list of contact info for all vendors

-get shoes died (doing that tomorrow)

I'm sure theres more...what a time for our internet at work to be down!

I still have alot, and am 4 weeks away.
-another fitting (decide whether or not to cut my train off
-finish seating assignments (I suggest you start this NOW - I had no idea how difficult it would be)
-place cards
-finish ceremony details like music
-print programs
-get my BM gifts (I returned the earrings I had gotten bc I decided I didn't like them)
-luckily, can't think of anything else right now...thank God. As soon as one month hit a few days ago, I've had a ball of nails in my stomach....the BP is tonight, hopefully I can loosen up and have a good time!
