How long is your HM? I want to go to Australia or New Zealand so badly, but we will only have about 2 weeks, which FH thinks is not enough time.

We are going to St Lucia...worst case scenario there is a hurricane, we get a replacement vacation to use whenever and we can go to mexico last minute or something like that.

We are thinking of doing the same thing. I really want to go to St. Lucia. So we figured if we got HM insurance we'd be covered regardless.

What about Brazil or Argentina? Their seasons are opposit ours, just like Australia / New Zealand, and there are so many beautiful places. Google: Nannai Brazil . . .Amazing!!!

We were having the same issue and we decided to go on two HMs!
A small one right after to napa,
And a big one to the Maldives in march for 2 weeks.
Also doing this b/c I can only take off 3 weeks vacay from work and if I want to take the week before the wedding off I wont be able to take off for the rest of the year.

I'm a Sept bride, but the same thing applies to us. FH and I were thinking about Hawaii. I really would like to go to Europe, but its like the most expensive time of year to go there : (

FH wants to go to alaska.... on a cruise to spend our honeymoon.. Yea, because I want to spend my first few days as husband and wife with about 7000 other people! I don't think so!
I want to go to fiji and rent one of those huts on the water where your floor is like a window!... but I don't want any bugs near me... so its tough.

We're only taking 2 weeks too... a day for travel each way leaving us with 12 days. I think we're only going to do 3 or 4 days in australia and the rest of the time in Fiji. It'll probably feel rushed but I'm guessing this is probably the only time in my life I will have the opportunity to go to Fiji!!!
FH's one job is to plan/book the honeymoon and he picked the the Qamea Resort and Spa. I just have to confirm my vacation days with my boss before we book anything (I'm using ALL of my vaca and personal time so next year is going to be rough!!) But it looks like they have so many things to do there!! I cannot wait!!! Although I don't know if they have those overwater bungalows... Guess I should look into that.
