October brides

October brides

Hey fellow October brides, where are you in planning? I fell off the wedding wagon and need to drag myself back up. Does anyone have a checklist that's keeping them on track? I feel like I'm missing some big things and lots if little things but can't seem to focus.
Thanks

If you sign up on the knot, they have a checklist. We have all our vendors booked and we are picking out our invitations a week from today. The only things we have left to do are all the little DIY things (printing table numbers/guest book, do programs, finish up favor labels, etc), pick out tuxes, finalize RD menu, and the last minute stuff.

I also use the knot's checklist as a guideline. You might not want to follow me though. I feel way behind compared to most ladies on here. We are meeting with two officiants today. I still have to book the limos, honeymoon and rings. Thats it for my major vendors. My mom and I picked out the favors last week. I started my DIY projects this weekend (Card box, invites). Oh I still have to get BM gifts and my accessories (Shoes, veil, undergarments) These next five months will be crazy but little by little things are being checked off.

I still have basically everything left to do, all I have is a dj photographer and dress, and I've picked a florist but haven't told her yet haha. We only got engaged at the end of march so I feel like for only being engaged for 2 months I'm on track. But reading all of your lists makes me feel crazy overwhelmed! I guess it's just going to be a very busy summer.

I have pretty much all the big vendors booked. I'm designing my invitations this week and will probably order them once done. I just have the DIY things that can't be done yet like the menus and program cards. Fh and I still have to pick out rings, which we will do next month and book a honeymoon. Make sure you write a To-Do list or print one to make sure you don't leave anything out... It doesn't matter what you tackle first.

I have all of my vendors booked and our hotel for wedding night. We have hotel rooms blocked and transportation for guests. I have my invitations already. I'm working on finalizing my ceremony now so I can do programs and I still have to do table numbers which will be 'DIY' and I'm having my Dad write out our escort cards which are vintage tags. I have my cake topper and card box already too.
Other than that, we still have to order rings (before end of June), pick out tuxes, make plans for rehearsal, book flights for honeymoon and get vases for sand ceremony. I'm still debating if I'm going to do a candy buffet and print out menu cards, which I will do all myself.
I've ordered personalized cocktail napkins for the bar and mini burlap bags to fill with goodies for the OOT guests when they check into hotel.

That's everything I can think of off hand.
