Woohoo October brides!!
So far I have: Venue DJ Photo/Video Florist Minister Dress Belt Veil Flats (not sure if I am keeping them or getting converse) Wedding rings- just picked them up from the city yesterday Hotel blocks- again, just did yesterday Booked our comped hotel room for the night Ordered and received Save the Dates, but haven't sent them out yet Got makeup artist and did trial Bridesmaids dresses are picked and ready for the girls to order them, they have until the end of March
I think that's everything I have so far!

Woohoo!! October is almost here!! I feel the same way, I feel like I have so much time but the way time is passing I feel like it's almost here!
so far I have:
Venue DJ Photo/Video Dress Veil Hotel Blocks Hotel Room Sent save the dates Did makeup and hair trials - booked both Bridesmaids dresses are picked up, except for two bridesmaids Ordered some Bridal party gifts Made my guestbook on Shutterfly Earrings and headpiece are getting cleaned (They were my cousins from her wedding) Finalized guest list
I still need: TO book my officiant, I have a few in mind who I got quotes from Pick out invitations (probably in May) Florist Groomsmen attire Shoes for me and my girls Wedding Bands (We have a jeweler in mind) The little stuff that I'm probably going to freak out about!!

Still have to get our rings, pick out invitations, tuxes, florist (dreading it), shoes, bridal party gifts, I have my hair trial next weekend.
I have to figure out if a DOC is in the budget. I really think I need one.
The thing I'm stressing the most are the logistics of getting ready in the morning. Where him and I will be, are the rooms at the east wind big enough for all my girls, etc etc. I need to get motivated to make some phone calls.

I've been meaning to ask the same to see where the other October brides are! This month I am finding a store to get the bridesmaids dresses (I already have the dress itself picked out) and my hair trial is next weekend. In March, we have an appointment for food tasting at our venue as well as an invitation appointment and meeting with the florist (we had seen him in the fall but he said come back after Valentine's Day lol). My dress came in a week and a half ago so I am going tomorrow finally to see it. My veil and headpiece are also purchased.
I would say FH is going to start doing the tuxes around April or May. Our pre-Cana is in May as well. These are the major things still left to do. Our honeymoon is booked but the flights still need to be purchased and that is something we are doing this month as well (towards the end of it).

Still left to do are: tuxes, transportation, makeup/hair (trials and booking), the rest of bridesmaids gifts, grooms gifts, invitations (we already picked one, just need to order them),bathroom baskets, meet with pastor, rehearsal dinner, favors welcome bags, plan out music, wedding rings,card box and decide on the cake
Woo! I thought I had a lot done already, but it seems like there still is a lot more :)

Woohoo Oct brides! Omg I still have alot to do! The flu really kicked my butt and I have been on wedding planning hiatus for a few weeks, I am still slowly getting back onto it. So far I have the venue (ceremony and reception same place), DJ/MC, photo/video, STD cards, hotel blocks, and hopefully picking my dress out on Tuesday. Still got everything else left ahhhh. The next venture after the dress will most likely be looking at officiants, florists and invitations

For all of you who still need to do tuxes, check out Men's Wearhouse. Honestly I've been to the ones on the island and the service wasn't the greatest, we happened to be in the city today and popped in to one. They have this deal that if you have six groomsman rent tuxedos you get a voucher for $500 that can be used towards a purchase. FH was able to buy his own tux and get it fitted to him for slightly more than it would cost him to rent. Very happy this is done!

Yay October brides!
I've done: Venue DJ Photobooth Photographer/videographer florist officiant DOC dress DOJ shoes honeymoon book and flights more than half way paid for. hotel block book save the dates and sent out wedding website registry Table numbers toasting glasses Chana plaque for table card box makeup hair
Still need to: Finalize dresses for bridesmaids, find frames for the table card diy to go in, order the rest of the supplies for the florist for the centerpieces, bridal party gifts, parent gifts, fh gift, rehearsal dinner. We are going next month or so to do tuxes and probably may or June to do the wedding bands. I still need to order my converses for the wedding. We are working on our invitations now, and all the paper stuff, and guest book. That will probably be our biggest task since we are doing it ourselves. Order cake topper. We know what we are doing for favors but won't order them till March/April cause we have no room to put them and don't really want them hanging around long. Dress for shower and bachelorette to give to bridesmaids. Do oot bags for the hotel rooms but won't do that till the summer probably.
