I have not received one call yet. Only two times to tell me that they wanted soem of the balance paid.
Is that weird?? My dress isn't in yet, no one wants to start finalizing yet.
Should I be nervous?????????

I'm getting married in October and I started calling my vendors because I was nervous that no one called me. Apparently it's normal. Don't worry. Trust me, when they want your money, you'll know. Just make sure you have contracts with all of them. It's getting close... congrats and best wishes.

I havent gotten any calls from any of my vendors. I thought that was normal cause for most of them they said we dont owe them till the month before the wedding. Should I be worried....I dont think so....

i wouldn't worry! now that i'm just about to hit the 2 month mark (eek!), i'm all of a sudden getting contacted by EVERYONE. you'll hear from them when you get closer, believe me. it's exciting and scary at the same time!!

the only calls i got was from florist to come see Cp next week (but its to get $$ i think) I got the call my dress is in oh and my veil, but nothing else.. I saw a girl on here this past week post her hall called to pick her menu and cake!! I'm goin gto have to make some calls in the next few weeks..

It's normal I too checked in with my vendors 2 weeks ago, I did make some appointments for late aug.
don't panic, if you want just call them to check in.

We are just about 2.5 months out & I just recently was contacted by the DJ to finalize things by the end of the month. The calls will be coming in before you know it!

I am getting married 10-26 and NO ONE has called for any balances, BUT my photgrapher and videographer told me they are not due till Septmeber. I have made a few payments to knock down our balances .
And as for the dress I'd call and ask when it's coming in?! We ordered mine August 06 and were told it would not be in till September 07 but it came in , in May. The told me w pay half when I do my first fitting and the balance is due on the final fitting.

I am a caller! I am doing my menu on Monday. I did my cake 2 weeks ago. I will be calling the DJ next week, I have some ideas of what I want but if it is too complicated and I have to go in s different direction, then I want some time to rework everything!

I was told in September most of the vendors want their $ .. so I am not overly concerned until LOL. As a matter of fact, I called my RH to set up appointments in Sept and the told me they will call me six weeks before the wedding to set up appointments .. so don't get too concerned.
as far as the dress, my wedding is Oct 14 and my 1st fitting isn't until Sept 11 so I think you have some time
