October Brides - Did you get MU/Hair trials yet?

I'm doing mine in May. Should I wait? I'm anxious to do it so I can know what I'll look like and not be worried!

ETA: Oksana/Jenn brides - should I book a trial for May now? What times during the weeks do they do trials? Weekends or Weekdays only? Nights or days only?

i have a trial with oksana for march 15 at 1230..she can do weekends casue im on a sun..i didnt make a trial for hair yet..i just want to do ne at a time

its funny casue she said she has someone right after me at 2..and the first thing i thought washmm maybe she is on liw .ill prob do a trial with jenn the hair genie sometime after the makup trial

No and no ... I feel so far behind! I'm so anxious because my skin is horrible right now and my hair is super curly so need to make sure I can find someone who can do something with it ... and I am hiding instead

I had my trial with Oksana (and Jenn) about 3 weeks ago. But, I want to go back again in May for another hair trial for me (changed my mind about what I want and my hairpiece will be in by then). Plus, my sister wants a hair trial and my mom wants a make up trial. I tried emailing them a few days ago, but it usually takes a while to hear back from them. If you know when you want your trial, I'd start trying to set up a date and time now.

And if you do hear back from them, can you let me know? I'm trying to be patient...but I'm not very good at it.

If by bad you mean red/acne/dry/oily, etc...I know how you feel unfortunately. But - after I got engaged I started getting facials (I mean I've gotten about 4 in a year - not every month or anything) - but I've learned that it's a lifesaver. My skin was never crazy horrible but I do have very dry/combination skin.

So, I'm getting a facial 1.5 weeks before the wedding, and to make sure the timing with that is right, I'm getting a facial 1.5 weeks before my make-up trial.

Just wanted to suggest this for you in case it might make you feel better about going. If my makeup and skin look beautiful for the trial, I'll know to not be worried about my skin/face at the wedding! :)

Just looked at your album and your make-up looks stunning!!! :) I'll definitely let you know if I hear from them (when I contact - just need to figure out when in May to do it.)

I probably will do my MU trial in August. I want to see how MU colors will look on my tan skin. Usually i get pretty tan in the summer.

You're very welcome. It can be pricey, I know, but even if you just did it those 2 times, I think you'll be very happy with the result. Your skin may look a little red 1-3 days after, which is why you do it 1.5 weeks before (and believe me - it shines long after 1.5 weeks!) I was thrilled when I first did it - to be honest, i think they can be more productive appointments than a dermatologist appointment. All acne cream i've ever gotten just cures it for a bit, it comes back, I get lazy and it dries out my skin... not fun. :) Good luck! Please let me know if you do it and you're happy!

I am starting my trials now because I live in NJ and all the 'popular' vendors are booking up so quickly!!! The girl I wanted for my hair told me that she still has my date open but is swamped and can't do my trial until June! So I am holding my date with a deposit and after the trial if I don't like her I get the deposit back.

As for make-up. I went to one trial and hated it! I looked terrible! Now I have another one next week, I hope she does an amazing job because I can't keep spending 50 bucks on trials!!
