October Brides- Honeymoon

FH and I are having a hard time deciding where to go on our honeymoon. Other than Hawaii, can you girls please share where you are planning on going for your honeymoon?

I'm interested in hearing this as well. I'm so afraid of bad weather. I am thinking Mexico (wanted the DR but I was already there and FH wants a place that's 'new' to both of us.

we arent doing the whole tropical HM but we thinking either Ireland or Germany (for octoberfest)

Crashing - we were originally going to go to Italy (Tuscany region), but decided to scale back a bit and instead are going to Aruba - its out of the hurricane zone, so its one of the few islands that are 'safe' during hurricane season. (we talked about Ireland too, but a travel agent told us the weather in Oct is usually pretty damp and chilly - didn't want to deal with that)

Hey date twin

We are taking a short honeymoon...probably 5 nights right after the wedding. We are thinking Aruba or Mexico....my latest fave is the Excellence resorts in Mexico. We love Aruba, but have already been there, so thats why I'm leaning towards mexico right now.

Oct is very cold in Ireland..

If you are thinking Germany for Octoberfest you better start looking now -- those hotels book up fast!!!

I'm getting married next week and am going to The Veranda--Turks & Caicos

It looks (and sounds) like paradise

I just bought insurance in case there was any hurricane threat...I think we'll be ok....

We are going to Mexico in the Riviera Maya. The travel agent said we shouldn't get hit with any hurricanes but there is a chance.

Cabo San Lucas is AMAZING in October! (preferably the mid to end of October) I went there a few years ago and the weather was beautiful!!

Otherwise, Trinidad & Tobago, Aruba, and Curaco are outside the hurricane belt.
