I thought the protocal was to send out invites 2 months before with rsvp 1 month before...

As such we are planning on mailing out invites Mid August with RSVP date of Sept 20

Technically you can send them out when you want 2, 3, 4 months in advance. I don't think there is a right way to do this...it's your preference and also goes by your decision and if you decide to give your OOT guests more than 2 months to make arrangements..if needed. We chose to send ours out early and haven't had any problems.. and our RSVP date is September 10th.

Mine will go out around August 1st - i have a lot of overseas guests so i want them to get them. Etiquette is 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding

i always thought that you shouldn't send them out too early, but to each their own. I'm sending mine out at the end of the month and i have a response date of sept 2 i think (??).

Can't wait to get those RSVP's!!

I'm taking mine to my mom's house this weekend to stuff and then probably sending them out August 12. I can't wait to get them out of the house!

My rsvp is September 16th.
I have OOTers from Miami, Canada, New Hampshire, etc.

I think it will definitely be next week.
Plus FMIL keeps asking if she can invite more people (I wanted to keep this small - hahaha - how naive) so if I get some early rejects I can tell her to invite some of these people who I have never met and will never see again who are just dying to attend our wedding.

Can't I be on my HM already?!!!
