You are getting married columbus day weekend, right? No harm in sending them out now - I think a few of the girls here getting married that same weekend have sent theirs out.
I expect to get my invites this week or next, and send them out by the middle of August.

Hey date twin! I was hoping to have mine filled out already, but I haven't gotten them yet. They should be here next week. Anyway, I am hoping to start sending them out the first week of August. We have an RSVP date of Sept 10th, but we have a B list as well. I'd say if you didn't send out STD's you can senf them out now since it is a Holiday weekend.... HTH

I am also getting married on October 4th!
I sent the international invites out last week (FH is from Europe so all his relatives still live there). I am sending all the US ones tonight, tomorrow and Friday. I am doing them in 3 installments to avoid hand cancel attitude at the post office.
I already got a wedding present last week (from someone I haven't sent the invite to yet, but will Friday). I see no point in waiting especially since I KNOW not everyone will RSVP on time and I will have to go hunt them down.

I agree-if they are ready then why not- I know I will feel a great sense of relief when they are out of my house! One more thing off the list :)

I am patiently (not so much) waiting for the call that mine are in....
I wanted to send them out by August 3rd....
If you have them ready to go I would send them out...I can't wait to get mine out....

Mine are all ready to go, I am going to send them out either tomorrow or on Monday :) My shower is saturday so I was going to hold out till after...I can't wait anymore I want them gone!

We sent ours right after the 4th- we didnt send STDs and we have a lot of OOT, and its a holiday weekend

Hey date twin..... I'm stuffing the envelopes next weekend (Aug 2nd) and mailing them Monday (Aug 4th). I have an RSVP date of Sept 18th. When is yours?

okay so from the looks of things I am behind schedule? I again have had some hectic issues with my invitations and well they are still not ordered yet. Because we are on proof round # 2 and they are still not correct (Co. mistakes). We sent out S.t.d cards in the beginning of the year so not too too worried. We were told they should go out 2 months prior to the wedding and not sooner and the RSVP date is 1 month out.
So we shall see what happens. I dislike not being in NY to follow up as much in person with these people.

Oh Man! You girls are making me nervous. We just signed off on the invite and inserts and RVSP envelope last weekend. I guess it won't take long to get them together and get them to me? I planned on mailing mine the week of Aug 11

Mine were all set to send... I was planning on sending them the last week of July. But, now because of the RH switch... I am still waiting for the new invites to get here
