Omg i can't believe that some of us can go for our marriage licenses soon!! I can go in 5 days because that's when i would hit my 60 day mark..ahhh so exciting!!!

I'll probably wait a bit too, just make sure you leave at least 24 hours from when you get it to when it's going to be used! You have to wait literally 24 hours to use it!
I would def. get it way before 24 hours prior but that is good to know...didn't know that stipulation....all these rules and regs!!!

It's crazy!!!!! We're going tomorrow since FH is off this week and it's the only time between now and the wedding we'll be able to get there! I can't wait, I don't know why, it's just a paper I guess it's just what it symbolizes...
We could have gotten it Monday but I didn't want the clerk to think we were losers coming the FIRST day we were able to come

Just an FYI....the Town of Oyster Bay has late nights the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month for you to get your marriage license. They stay open until 7:30pm but they only accept cash.
Oh yay thank you gloria!! I'm going to ask for that again in about a month or so!! i would notebook this... but if you saw my notebook its a mess!! i have folders with tons of things in them... then i have a million threads saved that arent in the folders... and they are hard to organize because the screen doesn't move in a fashion that would make it condusive to work with!!! hahaha!!

I can't believe how fast it's all going by!! I didn't know we could get them 60 days before! I'm only at 80 so I have a few weeks before I can go. Stupid question - both of us have to go right??

But when you get your license, how soon after your ceremony does it have to be signed and submitted? That's what I'm really confused about.

I read someplace that it has to be within 7 days I think... I'll try to find it again.
