I think we will on a Friday at the end of the month. FH has 'Summer Fridays'- so I may just take a day and get that mighty check!!!

depends on where you live

i live in the town of huntington and they have late nights on fridays for marriage licenses if you make an appointment and are a resident of the town

My FMIL does this for a living !!! She works at the brooklyn one. So I have a major hook up! She told us to come in September. I can't wait!

How far ahead of time do we need it? My understanding was that you just had to have it 24 hours before the actual ceremony. Am I wrong?

you're correct

you can go as early as 60 days before though
